NRPG Developer's Log, Entry 3

For those of you that tried to get to my site the latter part of yesterday, I apologize. Apparently a script that I was working on was NOT optimized and ended up using so many resources, that my host temporarily suspended my account. Problem solved and I am working on re-writing that script to use a LOT less resources.
Follow up:
Of course I was going to use a similar script for map information, but now I have to re-think that. With as much information as would be passing through for maps and such, I would have my account suspended again in almost no time. No Bueno.
I may have to forgo the map system for now and keep things on a per-page load basis to keep resources down until I can find a way to streamline the process.
Other than that, been working on the user base and login/registration system. If all goes according to Hoyle, I should have that up and working on my test system within a few days. I am working on some projects for other clients right now as well, so it is going a little slower than I would like. I just cannot seem to say no to projects
